Frequently Asked Questions
Some of the questions we hear most often. If yours is not here, please feel free to write or call.
What does a pension eligibility review involve?
We look through your existing contribution records, identification documents, and employment history to assess what you may be entitled to under Thai pension law. We then explain the findings in plain language, and you can ask us to go over any part again.
How long does a typical case take?
Timelines vary depending on the type of matter and the completeness of documents available. An eligibility review often takes one to two weeks. Mediation and benefit claims may take longer, especially when additional information is requested by the relevant authority. We keep you informed throughout.
Is there any obligation when I first contact you?
Not at all. An initial conversation is simply a chance to understand your situation and whether we can help. There is no pressure to proceed.
Are your fees fixed, or are there additional costs?
The prices listed for each service are fixed. If any official filing fees are required by a government body, we let you know in advance and separately. There are no surprise additions from our side.
Can you help if the pensioner has already passed away?
Yes. Our survivor and dependant benefit claim service is designed precisely for this situation. We work with the family to prepare and submit the necessary documents, and we handle the process sensitively.
Do I need to come to your office in person?
Many matters can begin via phone or email. Where we need original documents or signatures, a visit to our Chiang Mai office may be necessary at some point. We will let you know early on what will be needed.
